The Bunkhouse Project Pre-Renovation Tour

Before work began, a party of Ventures and Explorer Scouts went out on an investigative visit to determine exactly what work would be required to bring the Bunkhouse up to a relatively comfortable state and to comply with current safety standards. The following pictures indicate the state of the area in and around the Bunkhouse before any work was started.

It was found that the major jobs that needed to be done was to replace the windows which have fallen into desperate disrepair. The electrics also need urgent attention as shown in the photos. Repair work is required on the side wall which has been washed out and the interior needs clearing out of years worth of dumped goods.
