Coastguard Visit 23rd September 2003

 

INTRODUCTION

On the 23rd of September 2003 we visited the Douglas Coastguard Station. This visit involved learning about the history of the Manx Coastguard and looking at the equipment used by the crews during a search and rescue situation before taking part in a simulated rescue from Douglas Harbour.
